Responding to the growing demand for metal parts used in rubber-metal connectors for car suspensions, the Company takes a decision to expand its production profile with serial production of metal parts. In the organizational structure, a Serial Production Division is established and the investment in the first six-spindle AS-25P automatic lathe machine is realized.

The Quality Management System established and implemented on the basis of the PN-EN ISO 9001 standard is subject to the first certification. STOMET joins the group of companies with a certified quality management system and has strengthened its position as a qualified supplier.

Using the natural direction of development, the Company modernizes its machine park and expands its portfolio with injection molds for plastics. Implementation activities are preceded by many months of the engineering staff training. The first injection molds made on the basis of original construction documentation are handed over to our Customers.

The Management Board adopts a strategy for further development of the Company in the scope of services related to the construction of new machinery and equipment. The former Repair and Maintenance Department is transformed into the Machinery and Equipment Department. This is a natural direction of development, taking advantage of many years of experience of engineering and technical staff and production workers implementing projects related to repairs and maintenance.

The process of selection, analysis and implementation of the key functionalities of the IMPULS EVO system, initiated in 2014, is successfully completed.

Company obtains a tool which, almost overnight, streamlines the process of information management internally and the process of information exchange with the environment, increases the effectiveness of the production processes, as well as their control, monitoring and accounting.

STOMET becomes a member of the Polish Automotive Group Association.

STOMET is nominated for the Polish Quality Award 2019 for the diversity of its market offer, satisfaction of technical needs of manufacturers from various industries, diligence and reliability of services provided in the program run by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and editorial offices: Biznes Plus in Gazeta Wyborcza and Entrepreneurship Forum in Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

The dynamically increasing demand for more and more advanced, automatically operating and robotic machines and devices was the basis for our decision to divide the current Machines and Devices Department into two separate organizations with different development strategies, the effective functioning of which will be based on different procedures.

The quality management system implemented in STOMET is subject to the certification for compliance with the IATF 16949 standard, gaining objective proof of the system's compliance with the requirements of the international automotive industry standard.
